The book holes so far

At the moment in my class my teacher is reading Holes.It is a book about a boy named Stanley Yelnats. (Yelnats is Stanley spelt backwards.) Stanley's family has no good luck so Stanley is always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Having no good luck and being in the wrong place and the wrong time Stanley was accused of stealing. So he had to choose to go to Camp Green Lake or prison. (Stanley chose the Camp because he has never been to Camp.) At Camp Green Lake you must dig a 5ft deep 5ft wide hole. In Stanley's tent there were 6 boys called, X-ray, Squid, Armpit, Magnet, Zig-Zag and Zero. Stanley also got the nickname Caveman. Holes is a good book that I recommend.

My Basket Ball Tournament

Basket ball tournament

Last Thursday I went to a basket ball tournament.  My team has eight players, Kaylis, Mana, Tumoana, Zahrn, Ethan, Jackson, David and me. We were in pool b and didn't lose a game.

Our closest game was 24 to 28.  This happened when we were versing Levin east hawks. Last time they versed us we lost. After the pool games we versed second place of pool a. Second place in pool a was... Foxton beach. That was also a close match but we won. The last game was the final which was against... Levin east hornets. This game was hard because the Levin east hornets are a rep team and last time we versed this team we lost by around twenty points. This time when the game finished there was an eight point gap. the winning team was... Levin east hornets. Then it was time for prize giving. We were the runner ups and Levin east hornets were first. MVP for the boys was Kaylis and for the girls it was Taylah from the Levin east hornets.

My Favourite Fish in a Tree Task

This is my favourite piece of work, from Fish In A Tree, called the S.S. Enterprise. I reckon I did a good job. I like how I made the flames look  sort of realistic and put every detail I could see on it. The Star ship Enterprise fits into the story because of Albert's flint top. Flint is the person who steered the S.S. Enterprise in Star Trek.

Hi my name is Giorgio, I’m a ten year old. I live in Ōtaki which is in New Zealand. I’m a year six and I go to Waitohu School. I’m english but I know a little italian. My goals are to learn more italian, get faster, get better at high jump, swim faster, learn piano and get better at maths. My favourite sport is soccer, my favourite instrument is the piano, my favourite food is cheese cake, my favourite hobbies are art and soccer. my best friends are Zach (who I play soccer with), Nevaeh.G ( who is funny and tall), Nevaeh.L (who is short and smart) and Bijou ( who is not afraid of much). My hobbies are art, soccer, athletics, swimming and more. When I’m older I want to play for the all whites and only the all whites not any other team.

100 word challenge

On a sunny day some kids went to the forest. they found a secret cave behind some vines they got there gear out ready to explore it. they started to hear a faint sound.

It got louder and louder until it was easy to tell it was music. They then decided to open the door ahhhhhhhh there was a bunch of unicorns dancing with glowsuits and glowhorns.

They walked into the party and looked around it was uni world

The thing that really caught their eyes was a giant continuis rainbow swirl going into a giant hole that echoes echoesssssssss.

Right place right time

bonjonor blog readers. Room 3 did comic strips about being on the right place right time. That means be on learning when we are learning. i am still working on this.
