The rat tracker

Last week, our class made rat trackers in small groups. You will need 2 milk bottles, 1 sponge, 1 bottle of food colouring, paper, peanut butter, cardboard and black pole stein plastic.
First you need to cut off the bottom and handle of  the milk bottles.
Next place the sponge in the bottom cut off and trim it so it fits.
Then tape the middle parts of the milk bottles to each other and cover in the black  pole stein plastic.
Now put the food colouring and peanut butter on the sponge.
Next cut off a bit of cardboard to fit on the bottom and place the paper (cut in half) on the cardboard.
Lastly put the sponge in the trap and place it in your backyard.

My very short sentence paragraph

Today we learnt about very short sentences. A very short sentence is a sentence with at least two words and a maximum of five. Our task is to write a paragraph with at least one very short, one -ing start and one adverb start sentence.

In a world where plants lived, was mushy and his little brothers (who were twins)
Om and Ro Ro. Surprisingly, Mushy was capable of  taking care of the twins without there mum and dad. Today Mushy had finished his book called The Mush Rooms. Quietening the twins was never easy, but Mushy had his ways since they were so gullible and inquisitive "Room, room  there is something over here come look." Dropping what they were doing the twins sprinted over and sat on a root waiting for Mushy. Mushy read the book while sneaking up behind the twins. After about ten minutes the twins were asleep. Mushy put the twins on his head and started climbing up a tree so they were no hit in the tree stampede. Mushy took the twins off his head sat on a good branch and went to sleep. Kowhai seed planting

Yesterday my class all planted a kowhai seed. Today for our blog challenge, we had to show the instructions of how we planted them. I made my steps on a google drawing.

My ten -ing start sentence

Today we have to write ten -ing start sentences, since we are learning about them. An -ing start sentence is were the first word ends with -ing. Then after the first phrase there is a comma and that is an -ing start sentence.

Wagging is popular, but is not a good example.

Talking created lots of noise, causing people to struggle.

Blogging is a requirement, that shows your work to others.

Learning is an interesting thing, because it is liked and hated by most people.

Being bored, happened a lot in lock down although there was lots to do.

Wobbling around, causes penguins to get caught.

Baking was popular in lock down, then it fell in popularity when lock down finished.

Tinkering on his project, Sam relaxed as if he was on an animal.

Dreaming happens a lot, at day and night.

Winking is a way of murder, but only in wink murder.

My food truck

Today we made food trucks as are blog challenge. My food truck is a milkshake themed truck with donuts and ice cream as well. There are other items but the main one is the milkshakes that can change flavor.
