While in lock down my class made insects out of out door resources. This was inspired by a guy called Raku. There are 4 steps to make these insects. The first step is to gather some resources. Then you want to get use to making insects. Next you have to choose your insect. Last you build your insect. Although its sometimes hard they can look realistic. When getting use to making an insect (The second step) you should try to find a insect body shape then choose that insect.
I am a student at Ōtaki College in Ōtaki, NZ. My blog is a place where I will be able to share some of my learning. Please note....some work won't be edited - they are just my first drafts, so there may be some errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas on my posts.

This looks awesome, and I can definitely see the resemblance to your pet Praying Mantis! I love the way you have used a variety of plant materials from your garden - the eyes look so cool. Great work!
